Before Your Appointment
Pre Care- Avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil for five to seven days prior where appropriate
- Avoid alcohol for forty-eight hours before your appointment to reduce bruising risk
- Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol, AHA and BHA for two to three days prior
- No dermal fillers or anti-wrinkle injections in the planned treatment area for two to four weeks prior
- Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, lotions and oils
After Your Appointment
Post Care- Avoid touching, rubbing or applying pressure to the treated area for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours
- Sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated for the first few nights
- Mild swelling, bruising and tenderness is normal and typically resolves within one to two weeks
- Avoid heat, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for at least forty-eight hours
- Avoid dental procedures and facial massages for two to four weeks
- Apply broad spectrum SPF daily and resume normal skincare gradually over the following days
